Mackenzie Reide is a mechanical engineer, writer, and adventurer. She also dabbles in aerospace, so yes, you can call her a rocket scientist. She loves to see strong girls in stories which is reflected in her middle grade books, The Mystery of Troll Creek and The Mask of the Troll. If you like alternate history, you can read her short story Shifting Gears in the anthology Altered States. She is currently working on the third book in The Adventurers trilogy and a sci fi short story for an upcoming anthology called Hope.
Mackenze currently divides her time between Vancouver, BC and New York City.
